areas) on campus and especially in the residence halls. Students, if you’re signing up for your own separate mobile phone plan, select a plan with plenty of voice minutes and text messaging so you can contact home frequently without worrying about the cost. If you’re staying on your family’s service plan, you may want to add extra voice minutes and text messaging.
Parents, it is important for your student to have unlimited text messaging. Your son/daughter and their friends will be texting back and forth continuously; their friends will text them even if they ask them not to.
