ACT Registration Procedures
Register for the ACT® online (you can also use paper forms and mail
them using regular U.S. Mail – ask your counselor).
To register online, go to ACT® Registration :
Create a new account or Log In.
Enter requested information (if you haven’t already done so).
Click on the red button, “Register Now!”
You can complete the optional Student Profile Section by clicking on “Your
Personal Profile” in the left column and answering questions.
You can also enter optional information regarding your interests by
clicking on “Your Interest Inventory” in the left column
and answering questions.
To register for the ACT®, click on “Your Test Selection” in
the left column.
Fill out the information to register for the ACT®. Select
a date and location.
Be sure to designate that your official ACT® scores are sent by
the testing agency to the colleges and universities to which you’re
applying.
Have a credit card ready. It’s easy and you can get registered
instantly. Cost is $30.00 plus $14.50 for the optional writing
test.
If you’re not sure whether to take the optional writing test,
contact the colleges you’re applying to and see if the writing
test is required for admission.
