ACT Registration Procedures

Register for the ACT® online (you can also use paper forms and mail them using regular U.S. Mail – ask your counselor). 

To register online, go to ACT® Registration :

1. Create a new account or Log In.

2. Enter requested information. Click on the blue-green “Continue” button.

3. Create a user ID and password. Click on the blue-green “Continue” button.

5. You may wish to enter the optional information for Your Personal Profile and the ACT Interest Inventory, or go directly to test registration by clicking the “Your Test Selection” button in the page left column.

6. After clicking the “Your Test Selection” button, enter all required information to register for the ACT.

If you’re not sure whether to take the optional writing test, contact the colleges you’re applying to and see if the writing test is required for admission.

Cost is $34.00 plus $15.50 for the optional writing test.
