SAT® Registration Procedures
Register for the SAT® online (you can also use
paper forms and mail them using regular U.S. Mail – ask your
counselor for paper forms). To register online to take the SAT®, go to: SAT® Registration.
Click on the blue “Register Now” on the page right,
If you’re a first-time user of this website for SAT registration, click on “Sign Up” in the page lower right
and create your student account (if you have previously signed up on this
website, fill in “User Name” and “Password”,
then click on “Sign In”).
You may be asked to update your personal information. If so, update your information. Also, you may wish to Build a College Profile so you can receive information on colleges and scholarships.
After building a College Profile, you will be asked if you agree with the SAT Terms and Conditions. Check the box on the page bottom and click on the blue "Continue" on the page lower right.
Select the type of test you wish to take (SAT or SAT Subject Test) and the date you wish to take the test. Click the bubble to receive or not receive the Question-and-Answer Service for $18.00. Click on the blue “Continue” on the page lower right.
Select the location of the test center where you wish to take the test. Click on the blue “Continue” on the page lower right.
If you wish, select a study guide, handbook, or online course to purchase to help you prepare for the SAT. Click on the blue “Continue” on the page lower right.
Enter your credit card information or SAT Fee Waiver Identification Number. Cost is $49.00. Click on the blue “Continue” on the page lower right.
Be sure to designate that your official SAT test scores be sent
by the testing agency to the colleges and universities you’re
applying to.
