Registration and Fees.
You must register for the PSAT/NMSQT® at your high school or at
another high school in your community. Online registration for
the PSAT/NMSQT® is NOT available.
The PSAT/NMSQT® test will be given October 14 (Wednesday) and
17 (Saturday), 2009, however, each high school chooses only one October
test date. This test is administered by high schools, not through
test centers.
To take the PSAT/NMSQT®, see your high school counselor or principal
to register, pay test fees, and learn the date, time, and location
of the test given in October. Also, pick up a copy of the Official
Student Guide to the PSAT/NMSQT®
from your counselor to help you prepare.
The fee for the 2009 PSAT/NMSQT® is $13, although some schools
charge an additional fee to cover administrative costs.
The College Board makes fee waivers available to schools for students
in the eleventh grade from low-income families who can't afford the
test fee; see your counselor for more information about fee waivers. |
