Importance of Junior Year Grades.
Junior year grades are the most important grades for getting into
college. They show college admission officers how well you do
in advanced, upper-level courses and indicate whether or not you’re
capable of handling college-level courses in fall 2013.
In addition, college financial aid officers and scholarship organizations
use grades to determine merit-based
financial aid awards. Remember
this: The better your grades, the greater your scholarships and
grant awards will be.
Even if your grades haven’t been the best, now is the time to
make improvements in your GPA; colleges like to see upward trends in
grades. If you’re serious about going to college, get serious
this year. |
