Continue to Strengthen Your Relationship With Teachers, Counselors, Employers and Other Adults.

Work to improve your relationship with teachers, counselors, coaches, employers and community members.  Continue to get to know these people and expand your hard-working, respectful relationships with them.  Remember, you’ll be asking them for letters of recommendation in 4 ½ months.  The greater effort you make to build and maintain good relationships with adults in your life, the stronger their letters of recommendation will be. 

Talk with school educators and coaches to update them on your college plans.

NOTE:  The people you ask for recommendations must know you and your work very well.  Do extraordinary on your final exams this semester and earn top grades.  If you have a part-time job, an internship, or do volunteer work, give it your strongest effort and be outstanding.
