FAFSA Assistance
The Federal Student Aid Information Center can answer questions about
the FAFSA process. Call 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243) between
8 a.m. and midnight (Eastern Time), seven days a week. TTY users
may call 800-730-8913 with any federal student aid questions. Information
specialists at these numbers can:
1. Assist you in completing the FAFSA.
2. Assist you in making corrections to your Student Aid Report (SAR).
3. Tell you whether a school participates in federal student aid programs.
4. Explain federal student aid eligibility requirements.
5. Explain the process of determining financial need and awarding aid.
6. Have your application information sent to a specific school.
7. Send federal student aid publications to you.
8. Send you a copy of your SAR.
You may use an automated response system at the above numbers to find
out if your FAFSA has been processed.
