FAFSA Corrections
To make corrections to your FAFSA application, go to Make
Corrections to a Processed FAFSA:
1. Fill in your name, Social Security number and date of birth. Click the blue “Next” button.
2. Click on the blue “Make FAFSA Corrections” link,
3. Enter your PIN (student’s PIN) and create a password. Click the blue “Next” button.
4. Links to answers to six frequently asked questions are shown. Review these answers if you wish, then click the blue “Next” button.
5. Correct your FAFSA by entering updated financial information from your
and your parents' 2011 federal tax returns.
6. Electronically sign and submit the corrected online FAFSA. Be sure to print the updated version of your Student Aid Report (SAR) and place a copy in your paper
filing system.
