Mail Application

Mail College and University Application Materials
Mail all paper application materials (official grade transcripts, teacher
and counselor recommendations, student résumé, and any
other required documents) using U.S. CERTIFIED MAIL with a RETURN RECEIPT. If
your application materials get lost in the mail and your colleges say
the early application deadline was missed, you can prove that all documents
and forms were mailed on time by showing the RETURN RECEIPT. The
colleges will then allow you to submit photocopies of application documents
and still be considered an early action applicant.
Check all the documents in each application packet you will mail to make
sure everything is completed correctly and signed. Include a copy
of your student résumé if your colleges and universities
don’t forbid submission of extra supporting documents.
Place a cover letter in each application packet indicating the documents
enclosed. An example application
cover letter is provided. |
