Begin to Finalize the Decision on Which College to Attend.
Write down the college
factors that
mean the most to you and the college
characteristics of each of your colleges. Review your
notes from campus visits and other collected information; talk with
your parents. Use the college
comparison worksheet to rank the colleges
in terms of your first choice, second choice, etc. Also, consider
listing the pros and cons for each college so they can be compared.
After ranking the colleges, you need to wait for the financial
aid award letters (or Award e-mails) to arrive
so the financial aid offers from each school can be compared. When
the award letters arrive, rank your colleges in consideration of both
their characteristics and total cost
to your family. |
