About Us / Frequently Asked Questions
How
is your online college admission guides different then the other
online guide?
MyCollegeCalendar.org is unequaled as the
most student-friendly instructional guide designed to walk parents and high school
students step-by-step through the entire college admission process.
This is done by using a unique, easy to follow patent pending calendar format
that directs students using clear instructions
to complete all the required steps and to meet all deadlines on
a daily basis. We also provide invaluable instructions on how to
access the best online services and support for college-bound students
and their parents.
How
does your admission guide differ from college guide books?
MyCollegeCalendar.org is the most clear and concise, student-friendly
college admission guide available. We use a unique patent pending calendaring method of scheduling all college-bound student tasks and events
for the entire Junior and Senior academic year online. Our online guides give students clear instructions
for each and every step of the college admission process on a daily
basis. Using our calendar guides remove all the questions
on what, where, when and how to complete each step of the college admissions process.
How do I know your information
is correct?
We built a foundation of knowledge and information over the past
nine years from hands-on experience with high school students. We
continuously update information we gather college seminars,
college fairs, and discussions with private university and state
college admission officers. We make sure to get the most current
information about college preparation, college admission, and financial
aid procedures, and incorporate all the pertinent information into
MyCollegeCalendar.org.
How will I know how to
use MyCollegeCalendar.org?
All steps and tasks are clearly displayed in a calendar format and
provide specific instructions on a daily basis. By glancing at our
college admission guides each day, students and parents will know
when to start a task, what the task is, how to complete the task
and when the task is due. You will be able to follow all the procedures
to successfully complete everything necessary for college admission.
Following the procedures on MyCollegeCalendar.org maximizes students'
probability of acceptance to the college of their choice and earning
the most scholarships.
I have a Freshman in school
now. At what high school year do you recommend we start using MyCollegeCalendar?
It looks like your guides are for Juniors and Seniors only.
Yes, you are correct. We will be updating our guides every year so
wait until your students are finishing their sophomore year to purchase
a Junior Year guide. However, we have started developing guides for
both freshman and sophomores so watch our website for the announcement
when those guides will be available.
Does MyCollegeCalendar.org
have information on ACT/SAT/PSAT testing?
Absolutely! The Junior Year and Senior Year guides discuss the ACT,
SAT, PSAT and other test dates as well as how to register, and where
to find online preparation information. MyCollegeCalendar.org has
valued partners providing many of the testing services required for
Juniors and Seniors. Their services integrate and compliment our
Online Calendar Guide.
Who is Kalendarium and Sterling's
College Admissions Survival Guide and how are they affiliated with
MyCollegeCalendar.org?
Kalendarium was the parent company of Sterling's College Admissions
Survival Guide which was acquired in late 2006 by MyCollegeCalendar.org.
Kalendarium produced a successful paper wall calendar with
an informational web site reaching thousands of students and parents
across the United States. The staff and founders of Kalendarium remain with
the new company MyCollegeCalendar.org and are committed to bringing
you the continued excellence in College Admissions Guides as they
have done from inception. The new company has replaced the
paper wall calendars with an advanced Online Admissions Calendar
using web technologies to integrate with a variety
of mainstream applications as well as most College
and University admission programs.
